3/13/2010 · Apologies if this has been covered before! The engine warning/ emissions light has reared it’s ugly head on my 56 plate Vectra today. The car is running perfectly, no loss of power at all, no black smoke and drives as normal. There is plenty of power through the rev range too. It hasn’t been for a long run recently due to the weather/work etc. Could this be the reason?, 9/13/2010 · With the ignition off, press and hold down the accelerator and brake pedals as far as they go. Now turn the ignition to position 2 so the dash lights come on, but DO NOT START THE ENGINE! Any fault codes will either appear in the odometer display as ECNxxxxyy, or the engine management light will flash out the code.

10/15/2015 · Hi guys, Every time I use my Vectra C 1.9CDTi (07) the engine light in the bottom right hand corner comes on and stays on. According to the manual its has something to do with the emissions control. Can anyone shed any light on what it is likely to be and the cost of fixing it? Many thanks…
7/20/2014 · I recently purchased a 2007 Zafira SRI 1.9cdti 150 and have had problems with it since the start really. The problems are all related to the DPF and emissions system. I was getting the engine management light and glow plug light on dashboard with car going into limp mode. I have now had the egr replaced, the turbo had to be reconditioned/repaired because of an oil leak and the DPF was.

Vauxhall will not acknowledge that there is a problem. On researching this it seems to affect Agila’s, Corsa’s and Vectra ‘s. Not sure yet if other models are known to have this problem.
