If you get a set of factory torsion bar keys from a 2007 or older 4×4 Ranger , and install them in a 2008 or newer Ranger , it will lift that Ranger 1.75-2.00 inches in the front. Also, the rear lift blocks in the 2008-2011 Ford Ranger are lower.
10/23/2016 · This is where the torsion bars are located.. 2 of them, one for each side of the front suspension. Which means there are 2 bolts to adjust , each bolt is a 1/2 socket, with plenty of room to get both hands around to give you some leverage if you need it.
Unload tool and torsion bar will lower, remove torsion key. Install new torsion key and reload tool. Adjust torsion key tool enough to replace keeper block. With the new torsion keys installed, reinstall adjuster bolt into torsion key keeper block. Do not adjust torsion .
5/3/2020 · You need a torsion bar tool or 2 jaw puller or something to remove the tension from the t bar so you can remove your old bolt and the little metal holder/keeper measure the height of your fender lip from the ground BEFORE you do the work and with the new bolt bring it back to the same measurement/height.

8/16/2012 · Torsion bar crank is the way to go. You can use keys to lift it, but it does the same. I would think most guys here that have lifted trucks have cranked their torsion bars . If you want a little more on the truck, Run 32 tires, they are more common, cheaper and look great with a little lift.
